Here's the most remarkable thing to me about Federer: Seems to me that the more you know about tennis, the more amazed you are by the guy. If you know nothing at all about tennis, he's amazing. If you know a little something about tennis—maybe you have played a few times in your life—he's more amazing. If you know a little more about tennis—maybe you played in high school and once had illusions of becoming a pro—he's even MORE amazing. And if you were a great player—if you are a McEnroe or a Connors or a Jim Courier—then Federer is preposterously amazing

Još pure mora Ruud da ruča, preslab servis i bekend, a i forhend na ovako sporoj podlozi nije ni blizu ubitačan kao u Rimu recimo. Lagan posao ipak za Tima.Comment

Rud nije Timov nivo. Slab BH i i Timov kik servis u BH stanu kad Rud ima brejk loptu su dva velika problema za Norvezanina. Medjutim, Timov nivo je nizi od uobicajenog. Ruud je mogao da ga propisno namuci ali je napravio katastrofalnu gresku. Usao je u mec uvjeren da ima sansi, Trebao je da ima drugi pristup: "Igracu najbolje sto mogu." Jednom kad je Rud poceo dobro, srtvorio sanse, a pokazalo se da ima problema da ih realizuje, doslo je do razocaranja. Thiem je ovom pobedom pokazao da je vrhunski teniser, jedva je uzeo 1.set, bio usporen, ocajan izbor udaraca, Ruud bio bolji teniser tokom celog seta, a izgubio ga rutinski sa 6:4.
Posle tog seta, Thiem kao da je dostigao radnu temepraturu i samo odradio mec do kraja.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfzsyKXSs-Y
