    Pa naravno , kada je klub prošle sezone igrao Championship , mada su uglavnom klubovi koji su osvajali CS bili dobro pozicionirani sleće sezone u Premierligi !

      Newcastle je prevelik klub da bi dopustio sebi da posle jedne sezone provedene u najvisem rangu,padne u Championship...nema od toga nista,uzimace oni svima bodove kod kuce.

        Newcastle United u drugom kolu Premier League dučekuje starog dužnika Aston Villa-u. Meč se igra u nedelju na St James' Park-u sa početkom u 1.30pm (GMT).

        NUFC: Povređeni su Steven Taylor, Dan Gosling, Danny Simpson, Leon Best i Tamas Kadar. Sol Campbell još uvek radi na podizanju fitness levela, dok su Danny Guthrie i Peter Lovenkrands u konkurenciji za tim, posle prošlonedeljnog odsustva.

          DEMOLIRANA ASTON VILLA

          NEWCASTLE UNITED - ASTON VILLA 6 : 0


          Newcastle United je na St James' Park-u demolirao Aston Villa-u rezultatom 6:0. Osveta je tako slatka. Svemu smo se nadali ali ovom....

          Na sunčani St James Park, Chris Hughton izvodi sledećih XI: Harper, Perch, Enrique, Coloccini, Williamson, Smith, Barton, Routledge, Carroll, Nolan,, Gutierrez.

          Igrao se osmi minut meča, kada je sudija Atkinson pokazao na belu tačku. Naime, u šesnaestercu Newcastle-a, Ashley Young je pao preko Harper-a, što je bilo dovoljno za Atkinson-a da pokaže na kreč. Lopti je prišao John Carew. Norvežanin je šutirao jako ali preko prečke, nešto u stilu Roberto Baggio-a.

          Ovaj promašaj kao da je dao krila igračima Newcastle-a. Samo tri minuta kasnije Joey Barton sa dvadesetak metara iskosa sa leve strane, šalje pravu bombu i pogađa leve rašlje golmana Friedel-a, za 1:0, minut 12. Sjajan gol Barton-a, na St James' Park-u delirijum.

          Međutim, igrala je Villa, nije da nije. Ashley Young umalo da izjednači rezultat, ali je njegov prijem lopte bio neregularan. Loptu je primio rukom.

          Posle nešto više od pola časa igre, sa pozicije levog krila, Jose Enrique centrira na glavu Carroll-u, koji se nalazio na drugoj stativi. Carroll glavom vraća loptu do Kevin Nolan-a. Kapiten Newcastle-a, upućuje glavom udarac do Friedel-a, ovaj brani, međutim lopta se ponovo vraća Nolan-u, koji iz drugog pokušaja pogađa za 2:0, minut 31. Sjajni Kevin Nolan.

          U drugom delu igre potpuno ista priča. Aston Villa nije uspela da preuzme inicijativu. Ulazak Emile Heskey-a je izazvao i smeh na tribinama.

          U 67. minutu Andy Carroll povećava prednost na 4:0. Loptu je ka šesnaestercu gostiju posle jednog kornera vratio Enrique. Tamo se najbolje snašao Williamson, koji je nekako dotura do Andy Carroll-a, koji sjajnim volley udarcem ponovo matira Friedel-a, za 4:0, minut 67.

          U 76. minuti, Chris Hughton pravi dvostruku izmenu. Umesto Smith-a u igru je ušao Ryan Taylor, dok je umesto Routledge-a, u igru ušao Ameobi.

          U 81. minutu, Gutierrez pravi put za Xisco-a. Gutierrez je isparćen aplauzima.

          U 86. minutu, svojim drugim golom Kevin Nolan dovodi Newcastle u vođstvo od 5:0. Ryan Taylor je izveo korner sa leve strane. Na drugoj stativi našao se Ameobi, koji vraća loptu na peterac, pravo na nogu Kevin Nolan-u, koji akrobatskim skokom šalje loptu u mrežu za 5:0, minut 86.

              CHEIK TIOTE U NEWCASTLE UNITED-u

              Newcastle United je preko svog oficijalnog site-a (nufc.co.uk) potvrdio da je potpisao ugovor sa reprezentativcem Obale Slonovače, Cheick Tioté. Sada već bivši igrač FC Twente-a, koji ima 24 godine je prošao lekarske preglede i čeka radnu dozvolu.

              Visina transfera se procenjuje na 3.5 miliona funti. Radnu dozvolu Tiote bi trebao da dobije koliko već ove nedelje. Tiote igra na poziciji defanzivnog veznog igrača.

                Odlican je Castle bio i na prvoj utakmici... Krivo mi je sto bas Villa izgubio od Castle-a. Meni su oni drugi po redu posle Villa-e, al morao je jedan da pobedi...jbg... desava se... Ne znam ko je pomenuo ispadanje, ali ako Castle nastavi sa ovakom igrom, eto njih u prvih 7 ako ne i 5.

                  FRASER FORSTER U CELTIC-u (POZAJMICA)

                  Golman Newcastle United-a, Fraser Forster provešće narednih godinu dana na pozajmici u Škotskom gigantu Celtic-u.

                  Forster nema pravo igranja u utakmici Europa League u četvrtak protiv Utrecht-a, ali će možda debitovati za Celtic već u nedelju protiv Motherwell-a.

                    ACCRINGTON STANLEY - NEWCASTLE UNITED

                    Newcastle United svoju kampanju u Carling Cup-u počinje u sredu, utakmicom protiv ekipe Accrington Stanley. Meč se igra na stadionu Accrington-a, The Crown Ground , sa početkom u 7.45pm (GMT). Stadion prima 5.000 ljudi, dok je za Toon Army izdvojeno 1.400 karata.

                    Nema revanša, igra se samo jedna utakmica. Ako rezultat na kraju meča bude nerešen, igraće se dva produžetka. Ako i posle produžetaka rezultat bude nerešen, pristupiće se izvođenju jedanesteraca.

                    NUFC: Chris Hughton je najavio podmlađen tim. Steven Taylor, Dan Gosling, Danny Simpson, Leon Best i Tamas Kadar su povređeni, dok Sol Campbell još uvek kuburi sa svojim fitness-om.

                              Newcastle United Football Club je izdao saopštenje za javnost, u kojem se kaže, da je defanzivac Steven Taylor stavljen na transfer listu.

                              Dogovor oko njegovog produžetka ugovor sa Newcastle United-om nije postignut. Zapelo je oko visine plate. Kako javlja Sky Sports News, Taylor-ov agent Paul Stretford je za svog klijenta, od kluba tražio nedeljnu platu u visini od 60.000 funti, dok je Newcastle United nudio najviše 40.000 funti.

                                ACCRINGTON PRUŽIO JAK OTPOR NEWCASTLE UNITED-u

                                ACCRINGTON STANLEY - NEWCASTLE UNITED 2 : 3


                                Newcastle United je sa podmlađenim timom na The Crown Ground-u pobedio Accrington Stanley, rezultatom 2:3.

                                Na The Crown Ground-u Chris Hughton je izveo sledećih XI: Krul, R Taylor, Tavernier, Kadar, Ferguson; Ranger, Donaldson, Vuckic (Nolan, 90), LuaLua, Lovenkrands, Ameobi.

                                Domaći navijači su pred sam start utakmice prelepom zastavom odali počast Sir Bobby Robson-u.

                                Igrači Newcastle United-a koji su igrali u skroz plavoj opremi su morali na početku utakmice da se brane. Accrington je pritusnuo. James Ryan je testirao Krul-a u par navrata, dok je Shola Ameobi dva puta loptu poslao visoko preko prečke, dok je jedan njegov šut izblokiran.

                                Nile Ranger je takođe uputio jedan udarac glavom ka golu Accrington-a, ali je njegov udarac izbačen sa gol linije.

                                Poveo je Newcastle United u 36. minutu, prekrasnim golom Ryan Taylor-a sa preko 30 metara. 0:1, minut 36, Ryan Taylor.
