      Grant Hill je bio moj omiljni igrac nakon Jordana.
      Sve je imao. Pravi basketas.
      Povrede ili sta bese, su prerano zavrsile njegovu karijeru na visokom nivou. Kao sto se vidi, talenat ne nestaje ni u ovim godinama.

      A Hakkim the dream je bio tata #$&+|r
      Revolucija na centarskoj poziciji. Kao sto je Jabar izmislio "sky hook" tako je Hakim patentirao "Dream Shake" i jos milion poteza. Kazu da je umeo da izvede 20-ak razlicitih poteza/tehnika na utakmimci.
      Najbolja centarska tehnika i najbolji rad nogu ikada. Jedan od samo petorice koji su ostvarili u NBA-u quadruple-double. Jedan od njih je i njegov veliki protivnik i takodje veliki centar David Robinson, kome je prodao "Dream Shake"

          On i Shak su bili mamojebacki tandem koji je umalo doneo titulu Orlandu.
          Tada se jos postovao koledz i nisu deca dolazila iz high school pravo u NBA, kao LBJ, da se kurce kako su najpre postigli toliko koseva ili asistencija ili ...

          Kada igrac dodje sa koledza, ne moze da se omane da ne bude zvezda. I druga runda drafta je davala odlicne igrace.
          Danas na pola prve vise ni jedan ne valja.

          NBA se sveo na statistiku u nedostatku dobrih igraca. Ovo sto igra sve se drogira, svi skacu kao nenormalni i svi kucaju kao ceekicem. A pravih basketasa, koji misle, ima do 5.

            T-Mac, ti kao da mi čitaš misli! Dok smo diskutovali o Grentu Hilu, ja sam počeo da razmišljam i da se sećam najtalentovanijeg košarkaša kojeg sam ikada gledao. Da, to je Anferni "Peni" Hardavej. Razlika između njega i Grenta Hila je bila u tome što je Hardavej imao mnogo bolji skok šut, i mogao je da igra uspešno na sve tri spoljne pozicije. Imao je odličan pregled igre, bio je sjajan asistent, odlično je driblao za svoju visinu, imao je dobru igru leđima ka košu, rođeni vođa ekipe,...Pričalo se da Šek ne bi bio toliko dobar dok je igrao u Orlandu da Peni nije bio u tandemu sa njim, da se orijentisao više na svoj šut spolja(kasnije je prešao i poziciju beka šutera,kad se rastao sa Šekom)...Ko zna? Ali, snašla ga je ista sudbina kao i Hila. Povrede, povrede,...MALO je reći "šteta" za ova dva igrača. Malo...Od 1993, kada je Peni zaigrao u NBA, do 1998, i teških povreda koje su snašle njega i Grenta Hila, njih dvojica su bila dva igrača, dve istinske superzvezde( i po igri i po ponašanju) koje su predvodile novu generaciju mladih NBA igrača...Ali su i uopšte bili igrači koji su obeležili '90-e godine u NBA. Rame uz rame sa Džordanom,Pipenom, Stoktonom, Olajdžuvonom, Melounom, Robinsonom, Juingom, Drekslerom, Barklijem,...i da ne nabrajam, mogao bih ovako do prekosutra! Lepo je rekao Mr. Gold. Bio je to sjajan tandem Peni-Šek. Kakava je to ekipa bila: Denis Skot, Horas Grent, Nik Anderson,...Ne mogu da zaboravim četiri promašena slobodna bacanja Nika Andersona(sjajan šuter, posebno za tri poena!) u prvoj utakmici Finala 1995. protiv Hjustona. Ta utakmica je verovatno odredila dalji tok serije, i Orlando je izgubio sa 4:0. Anferni "Peni" Hardavej je veoma zahvalan kao tema za razgovor. ON tek nije igrao na snagu. Košarkaška ELEGANCIJA I FINESA. Ali o tome drugi put...
            Ako se ne varam, ovo su prvi poeni Grenta Hila u NBA. Alej -up na dodavanje Džoa Dumarsa(legenda!). Sećam se da je komentator američke televizije koji je radio prenos utakmice rekao odmah posle ovog zakucavanja:"I ovo su prvi poeni Grenta Hila u njegovoj NBA karijeri. Vau! Ako je ovako započeo karijeru, šta li ga tek čeka u budućnosti..."
            P.S. Ja imam dajal-ap internet pa ne mogu dobro da pregledam sve snimke i da čujem ton. Ali, sećam se svega ovoga...
