    On the motorcycling track, 2013's calendar is a parade of Iberian supremacy, with Spaniards dominating every race class to the almost complete exclusion of other nations.At the forefront of this is MotoGP's newly-crowned champion: a 20-year-old whose debut season in the elite division has delighted even the most jaded observers of this most daring of motorsports.

    Marc Marquez has exploded onto the scene like a grinning Catherine wheel, redefining the expectations of rookie riders and cocking a gleeful snook at the establishment, leaving dazed rivals scratching their heads in disbelief.

    After a bizarre disqualification at the Australian Grand Prix threatened his commanding lead in the championship, Marquez kept his head with two remarkably mature displays of disciplined riding - first in Japan and then during a frenzied final race at Spain's Valencia circuit, to take a richly deserved title.As the youngest champion in the history of top-level motorcycling, known by his Catalan fans as "the Thunder from Cervera," he has a vividly bright future.

    Someone who knows all about the challenges of being a MotoGP rookie is James Toseland, who spent two tough seasons riding for the satellite Yamaha Team after making the step up from Superbikes, where he was a double world champion. Now touring with his rock band and preparing for an attempt at the world two-wheeled land speed record, Toseland is a big admirer of Marquez and believes his youth is actually an advantage.

    "It just happens as a 20-year-old," said Toseland, who returned to Superbikes before a wrist injury ended his racing career in 2011. "All you're seeing is a young kid; he doesn't understand the mechanics of the bike so well yet, or the people he's racing against - all he's doing is putting his helmet on, putting his leathers on, cocking his leg over that bike and absolutely wringing its neck, with the confidence of what he's achieved previously in Moto2 and the old 125 cc class."

    Herve Poncharal, principal of the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team and leader of the IRTA group that represents MotoGP's teams, told CNN that Marquez served early notice of his special talent. "I remember one of his last races in the old 125 class, in Portugal," he said. "The race was shortened to something like five or seven laps. He crashed on the warmup and he had to start from the pit lane because he pitted to have his bike fixed, so he started dead last, and quite a lot after the last row, but he won that race. "He won the championship that year, and from that moment we thought, 'Nobody can do something like that.' "

    Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna - the organization that runs MotoGP - was struck by the way Marquez immediately looked at home in the top class. "His personality is really important," Ezpeleta told CNN. "He's somebody who arrived to the championship as a hero, kind of saying, 'I'm here, I want to be here.' "Immediately when he arrived in the top class he started coming to the MotoGP executive commission with the other riders, and immediately he wanted to hear and give his opinions; he's a great talent but also a great personality."

    This vibrant personality is one of the key reasons many see Marquez as the natural successor to Italy's charismatic seven-time world champion Valentino Rossi. The Spaniard's smiling demeanor has not only won him fans off the track, it also appears to have helped guide him through the stresses of the MotoGP season.

    "He brings so much energy, such a fresh way of behaving, a fresh mind, enthusiasm," Poncharal told CNN. "In Australia (after Marquez was controversially disqualified) Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa or Valentino Rossi would have left the track and been very long faced. Marc was on a crate, while everyone was packing, eating some crisps, and laughing with his crew. "He's always in the paddock. Although the other guys are walking to and from their motorhome and the box, in between the two they have their sunglasses and their headphones on and are not talking to anybody. Marc is always there, anything that is happening in the paddock he's there. "The attitude of this guy is a big bonus for our championship and it's so good to see a top guy who is still going out and playing with the Moto3 guys, and being available for anyone."

    The almost universal affection for Marquez has also given last season's champion Lorenzo - who missed out by four points this time despite winning Sunday's final race - pause for thought. "Mother nature didn't gift Lorenzo the way she gifted Marquez," Poncharal said. "On the riding he can compete with Marquez and he's showing that every weekend, but Marc is so much more appreciated by everyone because of his nature, and Marc instantly makes you feel at home with him; he inspires sympathy, and not everybody has got that. "And I think Jorge is trying very hard to change his image, which is not as likeable as Marc's, but this is something that is not easy to change."

    Ezpeleta recognizes the importance of Marquez's personality, but says it is important not to overlook his talent. "The most important thing is to be a very good rider," he said. "Rossi, (Casey) Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa and other riders have put the championship at an incredible level, and I think one of the assets of Marc is that he has been beating people like Lorenzo and Pedrosa, who are really great, great riders. "Of course the personality is important, but just the personality is not enough - it needs to be the personality together with a great, great rider."

    Toseland believes the crew in Marquez's Repsol Honda garage deserve credit for their approach to blooding the young star. "They've employed a young kid and nurtured him," he said. "They will have put the settings on the bike to where they will see the data and the electronics - on how he's opening the throttle up and how he's riding - and they will have given him a bit of a safety net at first, because there's a massive power difference between Moto2 and MotoGP. "Then they would have gradually opened up the power, decreased the traction control, the anti-wheelie control, all the settings you can change on a bike, to build his confidence."

    Marquez was allowed to go straight into a factory MotoGP team - Repsol Honda - at an age that was previously prohibited by the sport's so-called "rookie rule." It was scrapped last year, having been introduced in 2010 to spread riding talent around the satellite teams.

    Toseland believes this has been significant, and that other stars have also helpfully aligned to smooth Marquez's path to success. "To join one of the best teams, with what looks like the best bike this year - and with Lorenzo and Pedrosa both injuring themselves and missing a race early in the year - for him to then get the confidence of actually learning how to win, and getting a couple of wins under his belt, all those factors put into the pot have just made him so confident in what he's doing," he said. "You can see when he's on track that he's not fazed by anything or anyone, from the confidence he's got from having that little bit of breathing space earlier in the year."

    Poncharal believes that Marquez would have achieved success even without a factory bike. "At the moment he has the lot, he's on what feels like the best bike, which is for sure a bonus, although Lorenzo is showing us that the Yamaha is not so bad," he said. "But, and this is just my opinion, I'm not so sure that (on a satellite Honda) he would have done a lot less."

    As well as winning friends with his smiling demeanor and openness off the track, Marquez has also caught the eye with his audacious riding style, which sees his elbow as well as his knee pressing down on the track through corners. This enables him to better gauge what both the front and the rear of the bike are doing, providing a "fourth wheel" to help him get around faster. Other riders have begun to mimic this spectacular and effective technique.

    Toseland is among many startled by this evolution, and puts it partly down to advances in racing tires. "I used to get my elbow down with qualifying tires, and that's what it's all about really - it's the tire technology, Bridgestone have obviously developed a tire with the edge grip now that enables the bike to lean over that far, and also enable you to lean off the bike that much with the confidence that the grip is there," he said. "It's not just Marquez now, you see others like Stefan Bradl and Jorge Lorenzo with their elbows down. It's not so much that they've changed their style, it's the tire is allowing the bike to lean over that far."

    They might be able to follow him, but can anyone can catch Marquez next year?

    "It's always difficult to say, 'He's going to be the greatest of all time,' " Poncharal said. "But clearly if you remember the last 40 years you have Kenny Roberts, then you have the Mick Doohan era, you have the Valentino Rossi era, and I think Marc is ready, if nothing bad happens to him, to write another big chapter of MotoGP history."






    Losail Circuit




    Sest nedelja posle preloma potkolenice, nedovoljno oporavljen dosao je u Katar ne ocekujuci nista (nismo ni mi, naravno....). Ali izgleda da su svetla Losaila i neki magican sjaj koji motori dobiju pod istim, za njega bili vrlo inspirativni pa je tako kvalifikacije (neocekivano, naravno) zavrsio na prvom mestu. Trka je bila prica za sebe i laze svako ko kaze da je ovakav pocetak sezone mogao i da zamisli. Padovi vodecih i borba dvojice najvecih koja prevazilazi granice najludje histerije.




    Ako se po Kataru sezona poznaje....ne propustajte vise nijednu trku!





    Circuit of the Americas




    A na omiljenoj mu stazi, mali dominantni izdominirao i valjda odvozio prvu trku u kojoj je vodio od pocetka do kraja. Vise od nas smorio se on sam, pa je manevrom (citaj: umalo padom) u poslednjoj krivini poslednjeg kruga hteo da nas razbudi. Ipak je vikend obelezilo preticanje Lorenca na njegovom najbrzem krugu kvalifikacija i komentar jednog od dvojice neprevazidjenih:

    If that’s not scary I don’t know what is.

    Iliti u mom slobodnom prevodu, kada vidis da su na kolenima ti ih sravni sa zemljom. Ali da ne bude da preterujem, evo jedan objektivan osvrt na ono sto smo videli:

    If you are a MotoGP rider, may I suggest you don’t read the following, but if you insist on putting yourself through the pain, might I suggest cracking open a beer and then afterwards you can arrange an appointment with your doctor who may be able to subscribe a course of anti-depressants; say 60mg of Prozac or 20mg of Citalopram, just to keep your pecker up, that’s all.

    If you are a MotoGP rider who doesn’t go by the name of Marc Márquez, the deeply depressing reality is that whatever you are doing out there is no longer enough. It’s like someone has changed the rules of the game and no one bothered to tell you and now it’s too late to catch up.

    Márquez has moved the game on and is now doing things on his Repsol Honda RC213V at every other corner that most riders can only dream off doing once every other race.

    What we saw at Austin was a new Márquez, a MM93 1.2, an updated version, upgraded with hitherto unseen levels of confidence. He spent the entire weekend playing with his motorcycle, getting into some frankly ridiculous situations: riding sideways over the inside kerb, front wheel two inches in the air, or rear tyre six inches in the air as he braked and cranked into a corner, front tyre tucking as the rear regained the asphalt, transferring potentially disastrous forces through the rest of the motorcycle.

    He even did it at the very last corner of the race, while luxuriating in a five second lead, “just to put some rpm in my mechanics’ hearts”. As usual, he found the whole thing hilarious.

    Those corner entries… Márquez was already doing it last season, but with a full year’s experience behind him he can dive into a corner, brakes fully on, rear tyre in the air and carry on as if nothing else has happened. No doubt, the set-up of his RC213V helps, but even so, his rivals must be weeping. No wonder Jorge Lorenzo has yet to complete a full race lap this year without making a cock-up: was it really a mosquito in his helmet that blinded him at Austin, or a river of tears of anguish?

    We have all done a stoppie or two; some of us have done rolling stoppies, which require delicately maintained pressure on the front brake lever; just enough to get the front slowing to encourage the rear end to rotate over the front of the machine, but not so much as to stop the bike.

    Like many racers, Márquez does rolling stoppies all the time, but so far he is the only rider to have discovered hitherto unknown capabilities of Bridgestone’s astonishingly good front slick. Instead of merely lifting the rear wheel as he brakes at the end of a straight, he actually uses the same braking force that others use in a straight like while he is already leaning into the turn with maybe 20 degrees of lean.

    This allows him to maintain maximum braking force while his rivals are already off the brakes, peeling into the corner; which is why he can achieve apparently impossible overtaking manoeuvres. Apparently, physics dictate that the rear lifts less when the bike is leaning into the corner than when it’s in a straight line. (Please don’t ask me to explain, because I can’t.)

    I don’t know how other riders are going to learn to imitate this trick, but that’s what they need to do if they want to stand a chance of beating the kid. Difficult to achieve, hence my suggestion for some friendly assistance from the pharmaceutical industry.

    Like most observers, Márquez’s Bridgestone technician Klaus Nӧhles – himself a former 250 GP rider of some note – can’t stop grinning when he’s talking about Márquez’s on-track antics.

    “Marc adapted his riding pretty quickly to the character of our tyres,” says Nöhles, who scored two top-five finishes during the 2000 250 GP season. “He is super-confident on the bike – to me it looks like he’s playing. Sometimes he pushes for a few corners, playing with the limit and learning things.”

    It’s all very well lifting the rear as you tip into a corner, it’s dealing with the consequences of what happens next that takes real talent. You will notice that whenever Márquez drops the rear tyre back onto the track, the bike shudders and the front tyre momentarily tucks under as both wheels try to get themselves aligned (I don’t know about you, but this exact moment always makes my stomach do a somersault or two).

    For anyone else, this would be the moment when the sudden weight transfer overpowers the front tyre, tipping the machine onto its side, to the crash, bang, wallop of carbon-fibre and metal on tarmac and a gale of four-letter curses from the rider. Not so for Márquez – keeping everything 0.0001 per cent on the right side of disaster is just what he does for a living.

    “Marc is very loose on the bike,” continues Nöhles. “When the rear tyre lifts off the ground, other riders are really afraid to put the bike into the corner, but he isn’t. He just goes for it and at this point he is still moving his body a lot. He’s not static on the bike, whereas most other riders look stiff and go: ‘Aagh, I cannot make the corner!’ They get disturbed or nervous, but it’s no problem for him and now he is doing this consistently, so that gives him more and more confidence to ride in this way.”

    If you’re a MotoGP rider, that’s why I told you not to read this. The kid is only getting started!

    “So long as the other riders don’t change their riding styles, so long as they keep their comfortable styles, they will find it difficult to beat him,” explains Nöhles. “He is the new young guy, setting new limits. I know that Dani [Pedrosa] has suffered a lot of injuries, Jorge also, and as a former rider I know that every injury you suffer affects your confidence, even if you tell yourself it doesn’t. In my experience, younger guys take more risks.”

    In my mind, there are only two ways to stop Márquez: either derail his talent with wine, women and song or put Maverick Viñales and Jack Miller on MotoGP bikes.








    Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo




    Na prvoj se desio neki splet okolnosti, druga mu je omiljena pa je bilo i za ocekivati, ali sta se desilo na trecoj koja je bila nepoznanica za sve? Ko ce ga znati, ali on zaokruzio jos jedan het-trik. I vratio Horheu osmeh na lice, radovao se ko malo dete kada je zavrsio drugi u kvalifikacijama.







    Jerez




    Sa nestrpljenjem smo docekali Herez. Padale su opklade u kojim ce krivinama preticati. Od svega se desilo to da se kroz cilj na zadnjaka upisao (ponovo) pored Mika Duana pobedivsi u prve cetiri trke sezone i oborio rekord (pogadjate ciji) star 6 godina odvozivsi najbrzi krug ikada. I nije lose za 100-tu trku.







    Le Mans




    A Francuska kao sudbina donela i 5 od 5. Sa sve 5 pol pozicija (sve je bilo u znaku i na nivou petice, osim domaceg broja 5, ali da ne kvarim temu), mada to u slucaju Marka Markeza moze da znaci i da krecete sa 10. mesta. Nisam sigurna koliko su ostali vozaci bili srecni zbog toga, jedno je kada te neko ko redovno krece ispred tebe pobedjuje, ali kada taj neko krene s kraja i opet te lagano pobedi....to je vec sprdanje.




    Posle takvog ponizavanja nisam znala sta jos mogu i da ocekujem, da li postoji nesto sto on ne moze da uradi?





    Mugello




    Odgovor nam je dala (s razlogom) jedna od najneomiljenijih nam staza, Mudjelo. Da, odavno sam vec prestala da mislim svojom glavom, razmisljam crveno. Mada, posle ovakve trke, mozda ce mi biti malo manje neomiljena. Preticanja iz krivine u krivinu, iz kruga u krug, gde mozes da ih zamislis i gde ne mozes, ali kroz cilj je ponovo prosao prvi. Na misice je pobedio misicavog Lorenca. Sitan vez veze moj mali, od pol pozicije do pobede i tako 6 puta. Mnogi su se slozili da je to bio onaj stari Lorenco, iz vremena kada je tek dosao u MotoGP klasu. Ja ga se takvog ne secam, ali se nadam da je taj Lorenco ovog puta dosao da ostane.







    Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya




    Stigosmo i do Katalunje, a u medjuvremenu su se izdesavale prave nocne more za nas spanske navijace, daaaaa volim ih kao da su moji. Posle do sada nevidjene 9-ke na istom turniru upisao se u bozanstva, a onda ispao kao najobicniji pocetnik. Taman sam nekako prezivela sok koji mi je servirao moj voljeni Nadal, kad eto i drugog. Jedva docekano Svetsko prvenstvo me je na samom pocetku dovelo do toga da sam izgubila svaku zelju da gledam nastavak. Posle onog jada i bede na furiju sam licila jedino ja. A kako sokovi nikada ne dolaze sami (kaze moje iskustvo sa istim), nekako sam znala da mi se sprema najmanje jos jedan. Kvalifikacije, ponovo preskakanje sa motora na motor, tri razlicita podesavanja, tri razlicita tipa gume iiiiiiii....pad na samom kraju kvalifikacija. Moze to da bude sta god hocete, ali slabost nikako. Trazio je nemoguce....jeste, ali tako bi i moralo da bude. Iz trke u trku on pokusava nemoguce i iz trke u trku nam dokazuje da nemoguce ne postoji. Niz jeste prekinut, ali ne znam koliko se on potresao zbog toga. Po osmehu ispod kacige (koji i najtmurniji dan oboji u najlepse boje) bih rekla da i nije mnogo. Cudno ce da zvuci, ali meni je ovaj pad doneo samo dobro. Nema vise pritiska sa kojim jos uvek nisam naucila da se nosim, konacno mogu da zucnem, jer sam se kao i svaki sujeverni bolesnik bojala da otvorim usta da ne bih slucajno nesto izbaksuzirala i napokon cu posle nekog vremena moci da odgledam trku maaaalo opustenije. Idemo iz pocetka.... Ali ne i ako se Ludi Mrav pita. Kako se po jutru dan poznaje, a jutro je zapocelo da nije moglo bolje pobedom mladjanog predstavnika porodice Markez, znala sam sta mi je za ocekivati. Ovaj put tri losa nisu mogla bas nista Milosu. Ludom voznjom je stigao do svoje 7. uzastopne pobede. 25 krugova iz maste. Bilo je tu svega: pronalazenja precica (kako to samo on ume), dizanja ruke koje je zbunilo prvo Rosija, a onda i sve garaze, preticanja o kojima ce se jos dugo pricati, smenjivanja vodecih, kvrckanja.... ma sve sto mozete pozeleti i sve to u jednoj trci. Ne znam vise ni ciji je rekord izjednacio (verovatno Rosijev), skroz sam se izgubila u svim tim brojkama. Kako sedne na motor on obori ili u najgorem slucaju izjednaci neki. Ali Dani ce mi skratiti vec uveliko skracen zivotni vek. Kada ga vidim iza Markeza nije mi dobro, decace, imao si 8 sezona da se dokazes, mani me sada ludovanja. Sve sto prema njemu osecam je ono duzno postovanje (ipak je MotoGP vozac), ali njegovi navijaci su me naterali da se zamislim. Dan za reprizu mi je upotpunio gorepomenuti broj 5. Neka osecanja ne mogu da se prenesu na papir, ali.... Masteru, Vanjice, Mazo.... jedina 3 smajlica u ovoj prici su za vas (sad je valjda sve jasno).







    Oduzilo se ovo sa Katalunjom, ali onim sto nam je pruzila zasluzila je svako slovo!




    Assen


    Izmedju pentranja po podijumima, nadje se vremena i za manekenisanje. Kao da je rodjen pred kamerom, toliko dobro sve to izgleda:




    Do Asena su svi usli u odlicnu formu i niko vise nije znao sta mozemo da ocekujemo. Ali umesto najludjih kvalifikacija ikada strefio nas hladan tus. Kako se ko snasao takvo je i mesto dobio. Svajcarski tacna holandska kisa nam jeste donela uzbudljivu trku, ali ne onakvu kakvu smo svi zeleli. U uslovima u kojima tacno ne znate sta da uradite, koja je odluka prava, najbolje se (ponovo) snasao moj mali. Da se medju iskusnim liscima on poneo najzrelije - jeste, da najozbiljnije shvata svaku situaciju u kojoj se nadje – shvata, da se najbolje od svih sprema obracajuci paznju na svaki i najmanji detalj – sprema se. Sigurno da je bilo i srece, ali ta gospodjica je hrabrima uvek na raspolaganju. Inspiracija je odradila svoje, pa smo tako u Asenu imali i premijeru novog stila u plivanju – Marquez style.




    Impresionirao je i mog omiljenog penzionera (kad mu vreme nije). Mrgud sa stilom, gospodin Ben Spiz:


    With regards to MotoGP this season, what Marquez is doing is pretty impressive! I said it already last year and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that this kid is incredibly special. He’s adapted to the category seamlessly and he looks like he’s been on the bike for years. Last year was already remarkable, but eight out of eight this season and six of them from pole? It’s insane. The scary thing is I can’t see anyone even coming close to challenging him. He had a big moment in Free Practice in Assen and still set his fastest lap, to not lose time after such a mistake shows how crazy this kid is! Being fearless with such a big talent is a scary combination!





    Ako ste mislili da mi je Lorencovo sramno 13. mesto doslo kao poruceno da sa zadovoljstvom opletem po njemu, onda o meni niste naucili nista. Jer bas je on moja zvezda vikenda. „Ocima ne mogu da ga vidim.“ E koliko god da ne mogu da ga gledam, pratim svaki njegov pogled, pokret, grimasu... Stalno nesto glumi, ali je moj mali ipak od njega dobio najiskreniji zagrljaj. S druge strane, ne podnosim ga jer je najopasniji protivnik, ali kada ga nema u borbi nedostaje mi. S trece strane, njegovo ponasanje i izjave su mi toliko iritantni, ali na neki cudan nacin vrlo zanimljivi i necu priznati da uspevaju i da mi ostave osmeh u uglovima usana. Sa cetvrte strane se bojim i da pogledam. Znam devojke koje su na trku otisle kao veliki Doktorovi navijaci, a vratile se zaljubljene u Lorenca. Neke magije u njemu ima. I onda posle onakve bruke, ladno izadje i kaze, uplasio sam se, izvinite. Pa vi ostanite ravnodusni, ja necu.




    Sachsenring


    MotoGP karavan je doneo pravu vatru u hladnu Nemacku. A padova je bilo jos malo pa kao u Indiju (koji tek treba da se dogodi). Mrav se ovog puta vodio onom nasom starom „Gde svi Turci...“ i ponovo nije pogresio. Da ne duzim ja kad je moj (mgp, mma) kolega to tako lepo izanalizirao:


    ovaj put su Yamahini vozaci sami krivi imali su identicne uslove kao i Hondini vozaci isli su u boks i Rosi je bio ispred Pedrose kada su izasli na stazu u treninzima nisu imali toliko veliki zaostatak da bi tek tako Honde pobegle...hteli to neki da vide ili ne ovaj put su iskljucivo Rosi i Lorenzo krivi sto nisu bar bili blize Hondama,koji je razlog bio da Marquez i Pedrosa obilaze po par vozaca za krug a Rosi i Lorenzo ne mogu jednog po krugu??? ja to ne mogu da shvatim i mislim da bi bilo glupo da kazete da je samo do Yamahe,ako mozete konkretno da mi kazete gde je Yamaha kao tim pogresila na ovoj trci?(tu ne mislim da su odmah stavili gume za kisu jel to nije uradila ni Honda tako da nije tu stekla prednost)....Marc Marquez sta reci cast mi je sto mogu da gledam takvog vozaca,neki ga porede sa Vetelom i njegovom dominacijom u f1 meni to nije ni blizu da znam da ce pobediti sve trke do kraja meni bi opet srce zaigralo kada krene da proklizava i da slama konkurenciju a ono sto najvise volim kod njega je taj osmeh posle trke prvi put kada to nevidim znacu da su ostali uspeli da ga uzdrmaju,decko ne samo da pise istoriju nego tera ostale do limita tera ih da se poboljsavaju i da uce od njega sve to sa 21 GODINOM !!!!



    Sad je to vec 9/9 (ukoliko se nisam zabrojala).

    Novo lice strasnog Indija je donelo samo glatku stazu, do pobede je dosao svakako samo ne glatko. U toj ludoj borbi je zabelezen i jedan od lepsih trenutaka sezone.




    Svi su zeleli tu pobedu i ovaj put bili dovoljno jaki da do nje i dodju, ali moze biti samo 1:

    Automotodrom Brno


    Slatko iscekivanje najdraze mi staze je upropastila vest da bi ovo mogla biti poslednja trka lepog Brna. Od pocetka je krenulo kako ne treba. Posle kvalifikacija optuzbe da je pustao pojedine vozace da ga prate da bi sebi olaksao start (kao da mu je pomoc potrebna). Kada vam nista drugo ne preostane, za najboljima mozete samo da lajete, oduvek bilo i bice. Jedino zacudjujuce je to sto su strelice ispaljene iz garaze....hm najveceg. Odusevili su me komentari na ovu vest, a izabrala sam ovaj:


    It'd actually be pretty smart of him if he did tbh. I wouldn't think anything less of him for that. It just makes him a scarier prospect. Blindingly quick, fearless and smart to boot.

    I na glupost se moze dati pametan odgovor.

    Do sada nevidjeno mucenje je zavrsio na cetvrtom mestu. Nista od obaranja rekorda, nista ni od podijuma. U istorijskoj trci bi valjda svako jurcao do pobede i po cenu pada, ali ne i on (toliko o usijanoj glavi). Dao je sve od sebe da zadrzi bar tih vaznih 13 poena. Bice da je ova glava, osim sto je lepa i prilicno pametna. Glavno pitanje u MotoGP svetu je bilo kako ce Markez podneti svoj prvi poraz. Evo ovako:


    MARQUEZ KNOWS HOW TO WIN, BUT HOW DOES HE LOSE?

    HRC staff confessed that they were worried right after Marc Marquez had his unbeaten streak ended at Brno. Up to that point, the young Spaniard had won 10 out of 10 races held this season, and winning the 11th would have established a new record for consecutive victories...all at just 21 years old.

    As you surely already know, Marquez didn’t manage to achieve the goal. Severe traction problems during the race cut off any chance to be competitive with his trio of rivals—Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi—who were just waiting for any sign of weakness to jump on him like a pack of wolves. In these circumstances Marquez’s defeat was huge. Not only was he beaten by all three rivals—instead of just one or two—but also for the first time since Mugello last year, Marquez finished a race off the podium.

    In the Repsol Honda garage, everyone was conscious that the fourth place finish at Brno was a major defeat. They also understood that it happened because Marquez didn’t have the tools this time to take on his rival’s challenge.

    Livio Suppo, HRC's Communications and Marketing Director, confessed to Sport Rider that he and the rest of the team, especially the technical staff, were expecting Marquez to display his frustration—and in a not-so-subtle way. After crossing the finish line, he made a gesture of rage, and so his team was waiting in the garage expecting the worst.

    “In a situation like this, Casey (Stoner) would have entered in the garage very angry and he would have shown everyone his anger. To me, to Nakamoto, to the engineers…we would have to listen to a lot”, explained Suppo.

    So when the HRC staff saw Marquez’s RCV rolling down the pit lane towards the garage they prepared themselves for a storm of anger. But it never came. When Marquez stopped in front of the box and got off the bike, the first thing he did was look at his rear tire, then he walked towards his seat in the pitbox...and on the way he gave a hug to a mechanic.

    When he took off his helmet everyone was expecting to see an angry face, but instead Marquez appeared smiling. The first thing he said to his crew was, “No pasa nada”, which can be translated as “no worries.”

    “Today this is the best that we could do,” he told his crew. “There was no sense to throw the bike onto the ground (trying to win). I had no traction and every lap it got worse.” Marquez confessed that his feeling at Brno had not been good since the very first day of the GP weekend. The bike was never really ready to be competitive on race day—but Marquez also admitted that neither was he.
    The HRC staff—excluding Marquez’s crew, who know him quite well—were impressed with Marquez’s attitude. “This is the difference between Marc and Casey: the serenity,” said Suppo. “Both are huge talents, but Marquez transmits serenity to all his surroundings.”

    After downplaying the situation, Marc immediately called together HRC, Öhlins, Bridgestone and his team technical staff. “OK, let’s (get to) work.” So while a few meters down the pit lane the podium ceremony and celebration was being held, Marquez sat surrounded by his engineers, figuring out the solution to the problems that arose that day.

    The next day, in the official MotoGP practice where all the teams in Brno took to the track after the GP, Marquez set the quickest lap time, a new outright lap record for the circuit.



    Trka mozda i nije bila za istoriju, ali ovaj save dan posle trke sigurno jeste.




    Kako se od najdraze mi staze nisam oprostila kako bi dolikovalo, ostaje mi da se nadam da ovo ipak nije bila poslednja trka lepog Brna.





    Silverstone


    Do Brna je glavno pitanje bilo da li neko moze da zaustavi Marka Markeza. Kada smo videli da ni on nije nepobediv, pitanje je bilo kako ce podneti poraz. Momacki, a kako drugacije. A u Silverstonu je sve najvise zanimalo kako ce Markez odgovoriti. U retko sta sam ja u zivotu sigurna, ali ni zrna sumnje kod mene nije bilo ovaj put, on ce to da dobije. Ako su se neki posle Brna i ponadali da je sampionat ponovo otvoren, bojim se da je ovaj put mali zakljucao vrata. Katancem. Incident izmedju njega i Lorenca nisam videla, ali sam sigurna da to nije uradio namerno, ne Lorenco.







    Misano


    Nisam ocekivala da ce bas Mizano poneti titulu najdosadnije trke sezone, ali kada mali ispadne, ta trka istog momenta postaje dosadna. Bez ikakve potrebe je jurcao za Rosijem i... pao. Jedva je, uz ogromnu pomoc redara, ponovo pokrenuo motor i krenuo u jurnjavu za (ovaj put) jednim jedinim bodicem. Nije bilo nikakve sanse da do njega i dodje (dobro, na kraju ipak jeste – hvala Aleisu Espargaru), ali on nije odustao, 20 krugova! Kakva snaga uma...





    Motorland Aragon


    Krenulo je uobicajeno, Markez vodi, Lorenco dobija krila, malo se bore, malo pustaju jedan drugog... Zatim Dani pokazuje da ipak ima... ono nesto (steta sto ih cesce ne koristi). A u medjuvremenu kisa pocinje da pljusti. Od tog trenutka pocinje luda, najludja, moja najomiljenija trka ikada! Nije pobedio, ali je verovao da moze da odvozi citavu trku po kisi na gumama za suvo i jos i da pobedi. Toliko je lud... Pobedu je odneo Lorenco. 4. smajlic ide za ovu hladnu glavu Kada sam pomislila da sam sva najjaca osecanja vec osetila, dobila sam Aragon. Da se tresem citavu trku, skacem po sobi i psujem, radim vec odavno i telo se valjda naviklo. Trebalo mu je nesto jace. I dobilo je. Mogu da vam kazem da je to bio do sada neprevazidjen osecaj. Ne cujete nista, samo vam u glavi kao najjaci bubnjevi udaraju otkucaji srca, toliko glasno da imate osecaj da ce glava da vam eksplodira svakog trenutka. 100% uzbudjenja koje ostaje jednako jako iz sekunda u sekund, iz krivine u krivinu. 100% savrsenstva!





    Motegi


    Treci pad za redom bi bio previse za sampiona. Sve je uradio kako treba, polako i pametno. Bilo bi steta da je propala planirana proslava, i to u Japanu. Ipak je ovo bila voznja za odbranu titule, 9 krugova pred kraj je to i uradio. Videli smo da je Mark postao samuraj i da se gospodin Nakamoto u poslednje 2 godine bas prolepsao, veseo neki covek izgleda...







    Phillip Island


    Australija... ma zavrsicemo jednom i Australiju.





    Sepang


    Najznacajniji dogadjaj vikenda je svakako bila Markezova 12. pobeda i izjednacavanje rekorda Mika Duana, ali nazalost to nije bio dogadjaj koji je i obelezio vikend. U Moto3 trci smo gledali nesto sto nikada nije smelo da postane deo ovog sporta. Onaj koji je sve to onako samozadovoljno demonstrirao mi je skroz nebitan, ali sam besna jer rusi sve ono sto ovaj sport predstavlja i budi neko zlo u meni. Nije mu ovde mesto, ali kada vec jeste tu zelim mu srecan put u klasu Velikih, bice pojeden ziv. Ali onaj u koga sam se mnogo razocarala, a koga toliko volim (ili sam volela, sad vise ne znam) je gospodin Aki Ajo koji je sve ovo podrzao. Drugari, vidimo se kod kuce. Podrska za Aleksa!







    Comunitat Valenciana


    A zavrsetak sezone kao u prici, 13 pobeda, velikih 2/2, obaranje rekorda, pisanje istorije, ali bolje nije moglo. Rufea tim razvalio. Porodica Markez postala bogatija za jos jednog sampiona. Njegova borba za titulu je bila ko prezivi – radovace se. Desava se da dodjem na ivicu da prestanem da verujem i ovakve stvari su mi potrebne da mi pokazu da lose ne moze da pobedi, ili bar ne bi smelo. Neki karakteri (ni na stazi, ni van nje) nisu vredni pomena, pa cu im samo pozeleti srecan put. Daleko je Australija...

    Qatar: Dobar pocetak sezone mi je bio tako potreban, a pocelo je da gore tesko da moze. Samar prvi: Oliveira izbacen iz trke na samom pocetku (koji je bio odlican). Samar drugi: moje Sunce se konacno naslo na motoru kao pravljenom za njega, vodio citavu trku, a dva kruga pred kraj izbegao nesto sto je moglo imati strasne posledice. Prosao je odlicno, izgubio samo 1. mesto i podijum. Samo on moze da trazi kvar pri brzini od 280km/h. Sta se u toj glavi desava je za jednu ozbiljnu analizu, ali ta luda glava ce mi doci glave. Treci je bio previse... 5. mesto ne bi smelo da bude tragedija, ali ovaj put jeste. Raspad sistema. Ludila se vracaju, protiv njih se ne moze. Tu je slika – tona nigde. Ne znam da li je vise bolelo njega ili mene kada sam ga videla onakvog. Nadam se samo da ce sezona biti dovoljno duga da se oporavim...

    Losail Circuit

    Pauza izmedju sezona je trebalo da posluzi za to da se usijane glave ohlade, ali to je poslo za rukom izgleda samo najmladjoj. I najsladjoj. Prstalo je u timu jamahe i nismo mogli da docekamo da padne mrak na prelepi, ali avetinjski Losail. E ovaj put, u mraku se nije desilo nista uzbudljivo. Sampion nestao u daljini i na kraju trke izrezirao scenu koja bi lagano mogla da stoji uz definiciju dominacije. A ujedno pokazao da je pored (priznajem) mnogih stvari, nevidjeno talentovan i da ubije trku. Kao niko




    Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo

    Kada sam cula za obaveznu promenu motora istog trenutka su mi se rasprsile sve nade o pobedi na ovoj stazi. Iskustvo mi reklo. Ali i ono ume da pogresi. Da ne bi tog drugog motora malo teze bi mi dosli do iste. Ovako smo posle promene nestali sa radara i odjurisali do najviseg stepenika podijuma.




    Circuit of the Americas

    O uzbudljivosti trke govori i to sto su vozaci kroz cilj prolazili na zadnjaka. Ali dokle god moj vozac bude kroz taj isti cilj prolazio prvi dotad ce mi staza biti omiljena. Pravljena je za njega. Ali tog dana se desilo i nesto o cemu vec duuugo razmisljam. Da, prva sam u kritikama i neverici kako neko moze da se raduje padu vozaca, ma koliko ga ne voleo. Sad, da budem iskrena do kraja, bila sam sigurna da cu i ja, zbog svega necega sto se izdesavalo i i dalje desava, skakati kada vidim u sljunku Rosija. Desilo se i to, Rosi je pao – nisam osetila srecu. Ponovo smo pobedili.




    Jerez

    Kako su krenuli – tako i zavrsili. A kako je moj broj krenuo sa mesta broj 3, tako sam se i radovala. Taman sam imala vremena da razmisljam o valjda najbaksuznijem vozacu sezone. Dovijeva karijera je najblaze receno imala neocekivane obrte i ja ne mogu i dalje da odlucim da li je on vrhunski ili (samo) jos jedan odlican vozac ovog karavana. Verujem, makar se jos uvek nadam, da i dobro i lose dolaze po zasluzi, pa se pitam cime je Dovi zasluzio ovakav pocetak sezone?


    Le Mans

    A u voljenoj mi Francuskoj prava mala predstava. Umalo joj nisam i prisustvovala (ovaj put sam zahvalna za ono „malo falilo“). Za brzinu poena 0, ali za umetnicki dojam cista 10! Mali je de fakto umjetnik.






    Mugello

    Najvisi stepenik postolja smo izgubili za kerecu dlaku. I nemam nista protiv da gubim, dokle god je ta borba muska i postena. A onima koji ne umeju ostaje da zvizde i bucu. Rekla bih da Markeza to previse ne dotice. Dosao je po pehar, uzeo ga, hvala lepo i dovidjenja. Ali Horhe je sasvim druga prica... Onakav osmeh, mahanje, poljupci... on se u citavoj situaciji ludo zabavlja. Od kada se pojavio vodi rat. Najomrazeniji je vozac valjda ikada, a pronasao je nacin da u tome uziva. Moze mu se, kad u tom ratu uvek dobija.




    Horhe je Mugialla.


    Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya

    Za neka jutra jednostavno pozelite da nisu ni svanula. Previse je bolno, a ja sa tim bolom ne umem da se nosim. Sve shvatam, ali i dalje ne prihvatam. Osim talenta i umeca na stazi, koji su videli svi, ja sam u njemu videla jos mnogo toga:







    Kako jos uvek ne mogu da se oprostim od njega, neka na tome i ostane.

    Znam i da zivot mora da ide dalje, ali koliko su bile neophodne one prozivke i neumerene proslave? A ako je neko izgubio kompas to je Andrea Janone. Nikada nisam ni mislila da je vanserijski talenat, ali sada je ocigledno da mu nije mesto ovde, ne medju najboljima.




    TT Assen RaceDirectionGP

    Lude kvalifikacije su napravile pravi uvod u trkacki vikend. Novi format je svakako doneo i novo uzbudjenje, ali Markez ih je ucinio skroz neverovatnim i postao zvezda istih.




    Moto3 trke su uvek fenomenalne, ali ova je bila fenomenalnija. Na razlicite nacine pokazujem srecu, odusevljenje, divljenje, a ovaj put sam sama samcata u sobi ustala i pocela da aplaudiram. Trenutak postovanja prema toj deci, njihovoj hrabrosti i majstorstvu je prekinula dezurna kvariigra, ko drugi do direkcija trke. Samo su malo prekombinovali podijum. S' obzirom na to sta smo sve videli na ovoj istoj stazi u skorijoj istoriji, ova njihova odluka nema veze sa razumom. Licemerje u svom savrsenstvu. Uslovi su zaista bili ekstremni, ali utoliko je bilo fascinantnije gledati kako su se vozaci prilagodili i to bez ijednog incidenta! Ona sam koja ima najmanje razloga da se zali, u poredjenju sa glavnim konkurentima moj vozac je prosao odlicno, ali nije (samo) u tome sustina ovog sporta.


    Sachsenring

    KRALJU! CARE! CAROBNJAKU! Najsrecnija sam devojka na svetu celom, jer zivim u vremenu u kom ti vozis! Ko god da ga je stvorio, ali OVAJ majstor je dao novo lice MotoGP-ju i podigao ga na jedan sasvim cudesan nivo! Posle jutarnjeg pada, mucenja i izletanja, na polovini trke je prvi uzeo gume za suvo i pobedio sa 10 sekundi prednosti!! Ma uopste me ne zanima sta ce da se desi do kraja sezone, hvala ti za najlepse i najuzbudljivije sate mog zivota!


    Red Bull Ring

    Osecaj kada otputujete negde i pomislite kako biste mogli tu i da ostanete mi se desio jedanput u zivotu, kada sam prvi put stigla u Austriju. Ali ovaj trkacki vikend bih lagano mogla da zaboravim. Jeste se pisala istorija i jeste Dukati pokazao da ima motor koji moze prvi da prodje kroz cilj, a da na njemu ne sedi Kejsi Stoner. Ali, mom vozacu nista nije islo kako treba i na kraju zavrsio peti. Verovatno je tome doprineo i pad, ali i da je bio potpuno zdrav i prav, bolje od ovoga ne bi mogao. Nisam mislila da cu ikada vise odati postovanje icemu sto dolazi iz tima koji pocinje na VR, ali zasluzili su. Prvo suspenzija, a ubrzo i otkaz Romanu Fenatiju je nesto sto zasluzuje postovanje. Bio je odlican vozac, ali i najveci dziber kog sam gledala poslednjih godina. Odluka sigurno nije bila laka, ali za TAKVE u OVOM sportu ne bi smelo da bude mesta.


    Automotodrom Brno

    Nema vise nepobedivih! Svaki vozac, svaki tim moze da dodje do pobede! To nam je pokazala/dokazala trka u Brnu. Danas je to bio Kal Kraclou koji je bukvalno eksplodirao. Koliko je napredovao MotoGP u poslednjoj sezoni pa to je fantazija! Svako postovanje za tatu bebice Vilou, ali moj mali je sa potpuno pogresnom strategijom dosao do treceg mesta. Ma kapa dole!


    Silverstone

    Nastavljajuci u istom ritmu dodjosmo i do 7. razlicitog pobednika sezone za pamcenje. Mladjani Maverik Vinjales je napravio pravo malo cudo pobedivsi po prvi put u svojoj premijernoj sezoni u kraljevskoj klasi. Retki su vozaci prema kojima sam ravnodusna, a on je nazalost jedan od njih. Cudno, jer je decko retko talentovan i sve mi je u vezi sa njim nekako preslatko, ali...


    Misano

    Jeste da sreca prati hrabre, ali ove sezone smo je imali i previse. Ne bih je vise izazivala.


    Motorland Aragon

    I kakva sreca da je u ovom trenutku na kalendaru Aragon Posle nekoliko strpljen - spasen trka zaboravili smo koliko je sladak ukus pobede.


    Motegi

    Laze svako ko kaze da je ocekivao ovakav rasplet trke u Japanu! U sezoni u kojoj je bio sve samo ne dominantan, osvojio je titulu tri trke pre kraja. Ali nije mu palo s' neba, sto je bilo do njega uradio je, izborio se za vodstvo, a jedini koji su mogli da stanu na put osvajanju titule su posle toga sami ispali.





    Phillip Island

    Australija i (gle cuda) jos jedno ispadanje


    Sepang

    Najveci baksuz s' pocetka sezone je konacno razbio maler i postao 9. razliciti pobednik 2016. E vala je zasluzio


    Comunitat Valenciana

    Za razumeti je da mi poslednjih nekoliko trka nije bas bilo inspirativno. Na kraju sezone za reprizu, 5. titula je tu. Vreme je ucinilo svoje, nije izgubio na ludosti, ali je postao mudriji. I sad neka neko kaze da nije cudesan. Bila je to jos jedna epizoda iz serijala "Decak koji je pravio magiju". Da, bukvalno to radi - pravi magiju...
