Brooklyn Nets small forward Paul Pierce was fined $15,000 for "making excessive and unnecessary contact" with Indiana Pacers point guard George Hill in the third quarter of Monday night's game, the NBA announced Tuesday.

Bradley Beal needed crutches as he walked down hallway. Coach Randy Wittman said he bumped his left knee, had precautionary X-ray

Bradley Beal walked out on his own power, no crutches: "The X-ray was pretty positive – it was negative, my bad. It was negative."

Bradley Beal still had a limp in his step, but was upbeat. Will have MRI back in DC: "Hopefully, I’ll be good moving forward."
